We are looking for a specialist to conduct a practical market analysis of Romania before launching sales of Ukrainian manufactured products.
Objective To understand: which of our product categories have the greatest potential; what prices can be set for the products; where and how Romanians buy such products; how much more advantageous or challenging the Romanian market is compared to the Ukrainian market; which products should be prioritized for launch; which warehouse or fulfillment service to organize for storage and shipment of orders.Categories for Analysis Main priority: mold and fungus prevention products; antiseptics and wood treatments; paints for tiles and furniture; varnishes - facade/interior, for wood, for mineral surfaces, treatments, stains; primer-enamels and paints for metal; coating thermal insulation; coating waterproofing; decorative plasters; interior and facade paints;What Needs to Be Done1. Competitor Analysis Study the assortment on: eMAG; Dedeman; Leroy Merlin Romania; Hornbach Romania; Brico Dépôt; specialized Romanian websites. Gather at least 100–150 relevant products in Excel.
For each product, specify: brand and name; link; packaging; regular and promotional price; price per liter or kilogram; declared consumption; approximate cost to cover 1 m²; rating and number of reviews; main advantages and disadvantages; cost and delivery time.2. Demand Analysis Determine: which categories have the highest demand; actual search queries in Romanian; estimated frequency of queries; seasonality; popular packaging; main needs and problems of buyers.3. It is necessary to check: whether they accept paints, varnishes, primers, and other liquid building materials; whether they work with heavy goods and containers of 10–20 liters; whether they accept aerosols and products with transportation restrictions; whether they work with eMAG sellers and online stores; availability of integration with eMAG, CMS, and delivery services; ability to process orders with cash on delivery; ability to accept goods from Ukraine; procedure for handling returns and damaged orders; ability for labeling, repackaging, and assembling sets; delivery throughout Romania; ability for further shipment of goods to Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, and other EU countries. Based on the results, it is necessary to: select 2-3 most suitable options; create a comparative table; provide a recommendation on which company to start cooperation with; specifically note which companies are unsuitable and why.6. Recommendations for Launch Based on the analysis results, it is necessary to: select 20-30 products for the first launch; suggest recommended packaging; determine estimated retail prices; categorize products: to launch first; to test in limited quantities; not to launch; suggest positioning for the new brand; choose the optimal storage and delivery model; create a brief launch plan for the first 3–6 months.Final Materials The contractor must provide: Excel or Google Sheets with a competitor database. A complete analytical report according to the terms of reference. A table with recommended assortment and prices. A list of main Romanian search queries. A comparative table of warehouses and fulfillment companies. Contact details of 3–5 most suitable logistics partners. Practical conclusions and recommendations for the launch.Work Requirements All significant data must include references to sources. Prices must be current as of the date of the research. Romanian sources and search queries must be used. General text from open articles without specific tables, prices, and conclusions is not acceptable. It is insufficient to simply list warehouses: their services, restrictions, and suitability for our products must be verified.
