ComfyUI: SaveImage error — not registered in UI (Windows 11, RTX 4070)
📌 Problem:
In the ComfyUI system, after installation and startup, an error occurs:
Missing Node Types: SaveImage
This node (SaveImage) is a basic built-in node of ComfyUI and should be available by default. However, when loading any workflow — even the default one — the ComfyUI UI reports that this node is not found.
📌 Goal:
Ensure that ComfyUI works correctly, SaveImage registers in the interface, and workflows can be loaded without errors.
📌 What has already been done:
– Reinstalled ComfyUI (portable and from GitHub)
– Python 3.11, PyTorch 2.3 + CUDA 12.1 (GPU is working)
– Checked: nodes.py is present, SaveImage inside
– Imported manually via `from nodes import SaveImage` — no errors
– Manager installed, does not find "missing nodes"
– custom_nodes removed
– Environment variables, permissions, PATH checked
– Attempts to manually replace core, restart, and update cache did not help
📌 Expected result:
– Working ComfyUI where SaveImage loads correctly
– Ability to work with any `.json` without errors
– Optional — a brief report/explanation of the cause (would be helpful)
📌 System:
– Windows 11, laptop with RTX 4070 (Laptop GPU)
– PyTorch with CUDA 12.1 support
– FFmpeg, Python, everything installed
📌 Interaction:
– Preferably: remote connection (AnyDesk / TeamViewer)
