Design of the sensor housing layout

There is a sensor for the ultrasonic hardness tester - a 3D model is attached to the task.

The material of the sensor housing is stainless steel.

It is necessary to develop a design for engraving on the sensor, which should include:

1. Sensor type UCI (preferable) or Ultrasonic Contact Impedance

2. Sensor model U205

3. Compliance standards - ASTM A1038, DIN 50159

4. Serial number of the sensor in the format SN 135.002.0125

5. Sensor characteristic (load value) - 50N

6. Logo in the form of an icon + NOVOTEST (layout is attached).

7. Website www.novotest.biz (not mandatory, can be without the website)

The engraving will be carried out on a CNC laser machine on a rotary axis, meaning any graphic shapes can be implemented for application on the sensor housing. The application of any pattern or additional shapes/lines/other is encouraged. 

Simply writing inscriptions in some fonts without a graphic, completed, aesthetically appealing solution will not be considered as a resolved task of this project.

If necessary, cylindrical grooves can be added/removed/modified on the outer surface of the sensor (specifically in the "Styling Area"). Engraving in the form of some pattern or styling can be applied in the styling area, but without significant inscriptions, as the user holds the sensor there and does not see the inscriptions, which will be erased.

If necessary, the outer shape of the sensor can be slightly modified, except for the "Do not change" area, where changing the shape is highly undesirable.

In the link, the sensor has a slightly different design, but the differences are not very significant. The dimensions are identical.

Total length - 150mm

Diameter in the cylindrical part - 19mm.

In summary, as a result of completing the task, you must provide a design project for the sensor housing, which should include a layout for engraving with all mandatory information (p.1...p.7), and should also contain elements of graphic design that will make the appearance of the product comprehensive, complete, and aesthetically appealing.
