I really liked your approach to the task and attention to the meanings of symbolism, not just to a "pretty picture." This is exactly the type of work where details and atmosphere make all the difference.
I can create a completely new, independent engraving concept considering:
• Vegvísir as the central symbol of the path and guide
• Kaupaloki and Þjófastafur as auxiliary signs
• the atmosphere of "passing through the storm," rather than the storm itself
• Scandinavian aesthetics without overloading clichés
I can clearly see a combination here:
• subtle nordic ornament
• elder futhark
• motifs of fog / water / flow / starry sky
• smooth lines of forward movement
• symbolic "route through chaos"
And most importantly — all of this needs to be done so that:
• the composition does not fall apart in a small format of 52×26 mm
• the engraving remains readable
• small elements do not "stick together" after laser cutting
• the vector is technically clean for production
I work manually and pay close attention to details. I can only use AI as a supplementary brainstorming/reference tool, but not as a generator of the final result — this is immediately noticeable, and you are absolutely right about this.
Also, without any problems:
• I will familiarize myself with the previous version
• I will listen to what exactly did not work
• but I will create a new concept separately, without copying the previous work
