Где-то по весне делал подобную задачу. Десктоп, виндовс. Программа выдавала список фоловеров по хештегу. Формат json и закачивала его на хост.
Просто вопрос - что с данными делать? в каком формате они вам нужны? и где/куда долнжны быть сохранены/переданы?

Никуда не сохранять, по сути нам просто нужно получить список фоловеров и фоловеров фоловеров.

Мда, действительно большой! Согласен. На сервере такой скрипт работать не будет из-за нагрузки и по длительности выполнения. Под него надо виртуальную машину брать ))) 100$ - минимум ..
