I have two separate projects (2 different websites) connected to the CRM SalesDrive to different application databases, and I want to start using the accounting system immediately for both projects. From what I understand, the accounting system can keep track of products simultaneously across two warehouses. I will outline the tasks needed for each project separately:
1. Project Glovebox
- approximately 900 products in the CRM
- all product articles are unique and they match (I think 90%) between the systems (accounting system and CRM), we have previously uploaded them into the accounting system
- in my understanding, data exchange should be bidirectional:
When the status of an application in the CRM changes to Sent (meaning the product has actually been sent to the client), the product should be deducted from the stock in the Accounting System and, if possible, the quantity of this product in stock should be sent back to the CRM
That is, all our managers work only with the CRM and will not work with the Accounting System, and they need to see the product stock immediately in the CRM
2. Project Elin
- in fact, there are approximately 600 units of product in stock, but in the CRM, we have about 1500 cards for these 300 products (meaning there are duplicates), these duplicates are constantly being created and with different IDs (this is the nature of the work)
- Basically, the tasks are the same, but there is one nuance with the calculation of product stock
In short, on our website (WordPress), product cards are systematically deleted and created (if a card gets blocked in advertising, the content manager duplicates this card with a new ID and deletes the old card). If a new product card created on the website receives an order - then a new product card is automatically created in the CRM (although the old one does not go anywhere) and this process happens constantly
Additionally, there are 2 language versions of one card on the website (Ukrainian and Russian), which are also two different cards in the CRM, and duplicates of cards are also created on the website to increase the total number of cards in advertising.
To summarize, we actually have 300 units of product, but on the website + in the CRM for these 300 units of product, there are approximately 1500 cards. I want to note that the number 1500 is systematically increasing due to new duplicates.
If it were possible to distinguish these cards by some separate parameter (tag/keyword or something else), then everything could be counted correctly.
