Integrating Google Cloud API with RingCentral IP Telephony

Purpose: We need to connect Google Cloud API to our RingCentral IP telephony to implement automatic speech translation from Russian to English in real-time. When a person speaks in Russian, their speech should be automatically translated and played back in English for the recipient on the other end of the line.

Requirements:

1. Integration with Google Cloud API:

   • Use Google Cloud Translation API for text translation.
   • Use Google Cloud Speech-to-Text API for recognizing Russian speech.
   • Use Google Cloud Text-to-Speech API for synthesizing speech in English.

2. Integration with RingCentral:

   • Set up and test integration with the RingCentral platform.
   • Ensure real-time audio stream processing.

3. Workflow:

   • Receive audio stream of Russian speech from RingCentral.
   • Translate text from Russian to English using Google Cloud Translation API.
   • Send back the audio stream in English to RingCentral for playback to the recipient.

4. Additional Requirements:

   • Ensure minimal latency during translation and playback.
   • Guarantee high-quality translation and speech playback.
   • Create a simple setup and usage guide for the developed solution.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with Google Cloud API.
• Knowledge and experience in integrating with IP telephony, preferably RingCentral.
• Experience in developing solutions using speech recognition and synthesis.
• Understanding of real-time audio stream operations.
• Proficiency in Russian and English languages at a technical level for communication and testing.
