такой вариант подходит?

здравствуйте, что означает эта регулярка? и optipng нужно запускать вообще без параметров?

разве она будет искать в подкаталогах, а не только в текущей папке?

Здравствуйте. Регулярка самая простая - ищет расширение png в нижнем и верхнем регистре, ибо всяко бывает. Но Вы можете легко заменить на -name '*.png', если уверены что расширения только в нижнем регистре. А optipng запускаю без параметров. Их там особо и нет. Утилита по умолчанию сделана для пережатия png без потери качества.

Дак find вроде как по умолчанию ищет по всем папкам начиная с текущей папки. И не зависимо от типа поиска, регулярка или обычный Name
