We are software developers for compression tools like 7-zip, rar, zstandard etc.
But our algorithm is better (so far on small files); it is fast and can compress already compressed files, which is a significant achievement.
At the moment, we have conducted initial tests on small files, and the results have pleased us greatly.
However, we do not have a business understanding of how to develop this.
One thing we understand is that there is a lot of skepticism around this issue and that we need to prove ourselves.
1. We are not against proving ourselves, but we do not want to lose our uniqueness or hint to others how to solve this issue.
2. We have had thoughts.
A. To enter a challenge and win, but there an open license is required, and there is only a $500,000 prize fund, which is very little by our standards for this kind of software.
B. To write to Wikipedia or Archive.org, but it is not that simple there either.
Ideally, we want to sell to a large company.
The worst option is to create a SaaS project.
We are looking for a person who has already had experience promoting something similar.
We can provide interim statistics for now. When we test on all types of files and different sizes, then there will be more accurate benchmarks, etc.
Ideally, you would receive all the information before the consultation, and during the consultation, we would use our time effectively.
I would appreciate any suggestions.
