We are looking for a designer/illustrator to create visual design, illustrations, cover design, and layout for a printed book in Ukrainian.
We already have the full text and a general creative concept for the project. We are looking for someone who can visually realize this idea — develop the style, page composition, typography, rhythm, illustrations, details, and prepare the final layout for printing.
Creativity and a strong personal visual style are very important to us. We are looking for not just technical execution of the layout, but a designer who can think creatively, propose interesting visual solutions, add their own artistic perspective, and make the final product aesthetic, modern, and cohesive.
Scope of work:
— cover design;
— design of internal pages;
— individual illustrations;
— book layout in Ukrainian;
— typography and page composition;
— visual development based on the existing text and concept;
— preparation of files for printing.
Experience in book design, editorial design, illustration, printed materials, albums, magazines, diaries, or similar formats will be a significant advantage.

— editable source files;
— preview files;
— cover design.
In the attached files, I am including reference images that convey the desired style of illustrations and the overall mood of the future book.
It is important for us that the visual language of the project is cohesive, modern, aesthetic, and atmospheric. The references show the direction in which we see the illustrations, composition, color palette, emotionality, and overall feel of the book.
We do not expect direct copying of these images. They are needed as a guideline for understanding the style, mood, and artistic approach. It is important for us that the designer/illustrator can propose their own creative solution based on them, which will correspond to the text, concept, and printed format of the book.
