Роман, это сделать не возможно. Так-как программа использует механизмы Windows для реализации своей функции. Если Microsofе меняет механизм, то нет другого способа сделать работоспособной программу, кроме как изменить ее так, что-бы учитывались эти новые механизмы.

Спасибо за комментарий, но я сомневаюсь, что проблема в этом. После обновления программа просто перестаёт запускаться. Ладно бы какую-то ошибку выдавала. Или запускалась, но не работала. У меня подозрения, что проблема не в изменении API компанией

Она банально падает вместо того, чтобы дать сообщение об ошибке. Вы можете сомневаться, но с течением времени придете к такому-же пониманию, если почитаете https://github.com/Grabacr07/VirtualDesktop/issues - проблемы компонента от которого зависит Ваша программа.

Вроде написано, что это "обёртка" для интерфейса "IVirtualDesktopManager". Напрямую с этим интерфейсом работать нельзя?

Обертка сделана для того, чтобы работать с этим интерфейсом из программы на С#. Проблема в том, что меняется сам интерфейс. Если-бы интерфейс не менялся, то и программа работала-бы успешно. И меня Ваша программа работает на Windows 11 Pro 22H2 22621.2134

У меня вчера Windows обновилась до 22621.2215, из-за чего программа перестала работать.
