Furthermore, changing only the "appearance" without an engineering analysis of the independent points of the patent formula is a legal trap that does not guarantee protection against plagiarism claims.
As a lead design engineer with 25 years of experience, I develop projects in SolidWorks based on accurate physical and mechanical data, not guesses. To eliminate the risk of creating a non-functional part or violating someone else's intellectual property, the project is implemented strictly according to the following algorithm.
**Mandatory inputs from you (Start Criteria):**
1. Sending the physical original (via Nova Poshta) for micrometric measurement.
2. The number of the existing patent (to bypass the invention formula).
3. Working loads (N), vibration frequency, and material hardness (according to Shore A).
**Estimate and development stages:**
* **1. Patent audit (3,000 UAH):** Review of the patent formula. Identification of protected structural features. Formation of a safe corridor for changes in geometry (what can be changed and what cannot).
* **2. Accurate reverse engineering (2,000 UAH):** Measurement of the physical sample. Construction of a basic 3D model considering the shrinkage coefficient of the elastomer during casting (1.5-2%).
* **3. Design of bypass (4,500 UAH):** Development of 3 alternative working concepts (for example: S-shaped braces, perforated membrane, honeycombs). Strict control of manufacturability for extraction from molds (exclusion of undercuts and increased tooling costs).
* **4. Engineering analysis / FEA (5,000 UAH):** Nonlinear calculation of stiffness and deformations. Fitting the geometric parameters of the new model to the damping graphs of the original sample. Preparation of working documentation (drawings, STEP/IGES/SLDPRT).
**Total cost:** 14,500 UAH.
**Timeline:** 5-7 working days from the moment the sample is received.
**Conditions:** 50% advance payment, the remainder after approval of 3D models and calculations before the transfer of source files.
