I'm looking for a sound engineer to process the lines of the Ukrainian voiceover for the game Slay the Princess.
The material is already being recorded by actors. Each line is saved as a separate audio file in FLAC format, 24 bit / 44 100 Hz / mono. The total volume of the project is about 9,800 lines of varying lengths. The work can be done in parts as recordings come in from the actors.
What needs to be done:
— clean the recordings from background noise, clicks, excessive breaths, and other defects;
— remove excessive room reverb if necessary;
— equalize the volume of the lines;
— apply filters where needed;
— perform basic equalization, compression, and other necessary processing;
— trim excess silence at the beginning and end of the recording;
— preserve the original name, format, and structure of the files;
— do not change the tempo, pitch, or delivery of the voice without specific instructions.
Careful and consistent processing of all lines is required so that the voices sound natural in the game. Before starting work, I will provide a small test selection to agree on the processing chain and desired result.
The recordings were made by different actors in different conditions, so they may vary slightly in quality, noise level, volume, and room acoustics. They need to be brought to a maximally uniform and cohesive sound without losing the naturalness of the voices.
Experience with game voiceovers, dubbing, audiobooks, or a large number of short voice files is preferred. In your response, please include examples of voice processing "before/after," specify the software you use, estimated timelines, and the cost of processing one minute of finished material.
The estimated budget for the entire project is 4,900 UAH. Payment can be made in parts for the actual volume completed.
