Hello everyone. I have a Wordpress site in two languages "ukr/rus".
What I need:
The content filling occurs as follows:
An "Ukrainian version of the page" is automatically created when "adding a new news item, long read, etc."
The page is assigned a Ukrainian title for forming the URL in Ukrainian using Latin letters. (it is not duplicated on the Russian copy of the page).
The text in the blocks is filled in Russian. Internal linking goes to pages in Russian.
The site is made on ACF. Below is an example of the blocks
Next, metadata is filled in in Ukrainian (they are not duplicated later on the Russian version of the page).
Then, using the Duplicator Pro plugin, the Russian version of the page is linked. The Poly Lang plugin is also installed.
In the Russian version of the page, everything is already ready. We only enter the title and metadata, the content is copied. We publish the Russian version of the page.
We return to the Ukrainian version of the page and translate the text into Ukrainian and set internal links to the Ukrainian pages of the site.
This is very cumbersome, but it is what it is.
I am looking for an elegant and inexpensive solution to this problem. Here are the options I see:
When returning to the Ukrainian page:
Automatic translation into Ukrainian at the click of 1 or several buttons. I have a Pro account on Deeple or it can be implemented through Open AI API, but ready-made solutions do not suit me, as there is a hitch with the translated blocks. The ACF blocks I have do not translate with standard plugins.
Internal linking. I dream of automatic linking and bilingual! I have not found a single plugin that can do this. I am waiting for your suggestions. Thank you for your attention.
