    код как бы не старый, он написан как то по не понятному, толи собирался с кусков.

    в админке используеться mysqli, а обычно на сайте mysql, для чего не понятно.

    или вот например, если нужно что-то в админку добавить в шапку, нужно перелапатить 10 файлов или больше, чтобы изменения были везде.

    Понимаю.. до админки там ещё много другой работы.. Подключить платежи, поменять яндекс карты на гугл и ещё куча подобных правок страниц которые мне не нравятся как отображаются.

    По правде говоря, исходя из кода этого проекта, мне кажется, что лучше вам зайдействовать хорошего специалиста и переписать всё, что делал прежний программист. Уж больно оно странно и не понятно написно. 

    P.S.

    Это чисто мое мнение, я понимаю что на это потрачено деньги и просто выбрасывать не хочется.)

    Так у программистов так заведено.. никто не скажет класный код.. каждый потом говорит что надо разбираться и что криво написано.. я написал бы лучше.. это уже не первый сайт который заказываю, Бывает нужны правки а старый програмист или занят или такого не умеет делать... и каждый программист потом ругает код предыдущего программиста если нужны какие нить правки.

    вы бы убрали про "старый PHP", это глупо выглядит и выдает в вас заказчика "лоха".

    А что касается кода, то судя по примерам это "индуcский код"

    Нормальный специалист это поддерживать не возьмется, неопытный - продолжит городить костыли. Закончится это все равно одним - вы наймете людей переписать все с нуля. Ну или закроете сайт.
