Hello! This is a very serious and interesting engineering task that fully matches my profile. I have 9 years of experience in designing custom industrial equipment, complex mechanisms, and metal structures in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
I have a great understanding of the specifics of elevator equipment and the harsh conditions of its operation. I am ready to take on the development of the mechanical part of the system "turnkey."
Here’s how I envision the implementation of the mechanical part of the project:
Dimensions and layout: I will design a rigid, compact frame structure strictly within your 60 cm limit, optimized for ground movement along the tracks.
Kinematics and adaptability: Based on American analogs, I will develop actuating mechanical components (with electric or hydraulic drive) for reliable gripping and unlocking of both types of hopper car locks.
Strength: I will perform calculations of the metal structure for strength and torsion when working with jammed or tight hatch locks.
Integration: I will prepare mounting locations and protected nodes for the installation of actuating mechanisms, drive units, and elements of the video surveillance/automation system.
In the end, I will provide a detailed 3D assembly and a set of design documentation (DD) for production.
