    Программа нужна под windows или под linux?

    У вас есть более подробные требования, возможно есть техническое задание? Дело в тому, что ни Excel ни 1С склад не являются простыми приложениями, думаю что речь не идет о копировании всего функционала 1С склад, скорее всего вам нужна простая таблица, с формой добавления/редактирования товаров...

    Да, всё верно, речь именно о программе под Windows с возможностью вести список товаров, список клиентов (включая некоторую информацию как по товарам, так и по клиентам) и рассчёте прибыли по выбраному промежутку времени, можно просто по каждому месяцу в отдельности.

    Самый недорогой вариант:

    - интерфейс в Вите html страниц 

    - логику или на IIS + CGI к примеру на C/C++ или ну его тот IIS - простой однопоточный tcp сервер

    И к слову сказать самый быстрый вариант

    С excel понятно сравнивать такое и близко не стоит ))

    Но с точки зрения реализации учёта для курсовой.. аж бегом. Ещё и доступ по сети сходу

    А чего прямо так и соболезнование? Это ж курсовая. У курсовых есть большой плюс - они должны стабильно отработать в штатных, заранее предсказанных ситуациях. Задемонстрировать так сказать принцип, что вести учёт можно и на ПК, не только в блокнотике ручкой ))
