Development of an AI chatbot for WooCommerce
We are looking for an experienced WordPress/WooCommerce developer (or a small team) to create a scalable plugin that integrates an AI chatbot into WooCommerce online stores.
The chatbot should help customers navigate the assortment, variations, prices, coupons, delivery conditions, and lead to purchases.
Important: the solution must be implemented as a universal plugin, not “for one site,” with a user-friendly admin interface and support for multilingualism (LTR and RTL).
A detailed technical specification (with architecture and business logic) will be provided only to candidates who pass the initial selection.
Main requirements (in general terms)
Development of WordPress plugins and integration with WooCommerce (REST API, Store API, custom CPT).
Chat widget on the frontend: product cards, carousels, CTA buttons (Add to Cart, Checkout).
Integration with AI (LLM providers: OpenAI GPT-4o, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or local Llama via vLLM).
Support for RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) for catalog/FAQ indexing (pgvector or Qdrant).
Analytics: local event logs + hooks for integration with GA4/Mixpanel/Facebook Pixel.
Multilingualism, support for RTL.
Modern frontend stack (TailwindCSS, Vanilla JS or React for the widget).
