Hello, I would also add that ideally, the logo should intersect with the activity (by the way, you did not specify what kind of application it is) and it could look like a well-known symbol but revealed from a new angle (like the arrow-smile of Amazon) and it should have a hidden meaning (like the Amazon arrow going from "A" to "Z" - which is clear what it means) etc. - but this would make the task almost impossible. On the other hand, by setting impossible tasks and striving for them, we will achieve more than if we aim for something simpler... these are just thoughts out loud; I will be able to propose something substantial once I know what the application is about.
