17 USD We are looking for a performer for long-term part-time employment to process the database of retail locations in Uzbekistan weekly.
Task details:
- Input: list of new unprocessed points + database of already normalized unique points.
- Requirements:
- Standardize the names and addresses of new points (normalization).
- Find duplicates based on similarity of name and address, link to existing database.
- If no matches are found — mark the point as unique.
Work organization:
- Work is performed in Excel.
- File transfer via OneDrive or email.
- Volume — on average from 500 to 2000 records per week.
- Deadline — 5–7 days.
Data features:
- Names of retail points may be written in Russian, Uzbek, or Latin script. Transliterating and standardizing all names to a single format is required to facilitate duplicate detection.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Excel (formulas, filters, text processing).
- Attention to detail, ability to analyze data.
Preferred:
- Experience with macros, Power Query, regular expressions.
- Experience working with address databases, normalization, or data cleaning.
- Ideas for process optimization and automation without loss of quality are encouraged.
Payment:
- Payment is made for each processed point, with a total calculation once a month. Terms are discussed individually after the test task.
Test task:
- Before starting cooperation, we provide a small test task to assess quality and workload.
- After review — we provide feedback and agree on further steps.
