There is another solution to this issue without rejecting reflections. We can discuss the idea for your task.
It is necessary to design a holder system for catalog photography of a large number of jewelry items (over 300 pairs). The main goal is to minimize retouching time. The mounts should be as thin and inconspicuous as possible while providing a clear fixation of the items at specified angles.
System Composition:
The system should consist of two parts:
- Base holder (stand): A G-shaped structure (height ~10 cm), which will be printed on an FDM printer (possibly the holder head can be printed on SLA for positioning accuracy).
- Replaceable cartridges (item holders): Thin transparent! elements that insert into the base. They will be printed on SLA (photopolymer).
Technical requirements for cartridges (SLA printing):
- Material: Transparent photopolymer. The shape should be as simple (flat) as possible to avoid unnecessary light refractions.
- Thickness: The main working part — from 0.2 mm to 1.3 mm (in the areas of holes for strength).
- Legs: Width up to 2-2.3 mm. Leg length ~25 mm (so that the base of the stand does not get into the frame).
- Holes: Diameter 1 mm for earring pins.
- Variability (Need to develop several types of cartridges):
* For parallel arrangement of earrings.
* With angles of rotation for one or both earrings (45°, 60°, 90° relative to the shooting axis).
* With different distances between the centers of the holes: narrow (18-20 mm) and wide (28 mm).
* Universal holder for pendants (central mount).
Technical requirements for the base (FDM printing):
* Design: Rigid G or P-shaped frame.
* Mounting system: Slots or holes for quick cartridge changes (replacement in 2-3 seconds).
* Reliability: The cartridge must fit tightly, not wobble, and not sag or bend under the weight of the item; it may be possible to make ribs for rigidity (although this will add unwanted refractions).
Alternative Implementation Option (Plug-Matrix System)
As an option, I am considering a more flexible modular system. Instead of solid P-shaped plates, a base with a "matrix" of holes and separate thin plugs for each earring can be made.
The essence of the idea:
* Base (FDM): On the upper bar of the holder, we make a series of holes spaced a few millimeters apart and holes at various angles. This will allow me to set any distance and angle between the earrings (18 mm, 25 mm, 30 mm) simply by rearranging the plugs in different slots.
* Replaceable plugs (SLA): Each earring is attached to its own separate thin transparent "nail".
Why this might be better:
* Maximum versatility: One stand fits everything — from tiny studs to massive pendants.
* Accuracy for the catalog: The item is always fixed in one position, does not wobble, and does not sag.
* Savings: If one thin holder breaks, there is no need to redo the entire structure — just print a new small plug.
It is important for me that you think through the geometry of this connection: the plug must fit tightly, without play, and always to the same depth so that the earrings in a pair are at the same level.
That is, once you attach the earring/pendant to the cartridge - we should be able to photograph it at different angles relative to the camera, simply by changing the hole into which it is inserted.

Good day!
The technical specification is quite understandable, but there are some ambiguities and complexities regarding implementation: the same depth of plug installation at different angles and the quick change of plugs in the matrix.
It is possible to install the plug at 90 degrees, but it has grooves in the places of the suspension product at different angles.
In any case, to implement this, it is necessary to create a model of the matrix and one plug, test it, and then scale it to N simultaneous photography of the products.
The cost and timeline for the design are under discussion.

Good morning, I will be happy to help you with your project, feel free to reach out and we will discuss everything.

Good day.
For more accurate and consistent execution, at least some examples or hand drawings are needed.
If this is not a problem, then there will be no issues during the design process.
I have extensive experience in creating 3D models for 3D printing.
I have my own engineering FDM 3D printer (it will be possible to quickly test 3D models).
I have experience in designing jigs for machines (not the same as in your task, but very close).

Hello.
I can work online.
I create a version based on your idea, show it, make adjustments, and continue until the final version for printing is created.
If necessary, I can perform a test print (paid separately) to check the feasibility of the idea.

Need seamless textures for canvas frames (based on photo references) There is a 3D project in Blender (frames for canvas gallery wrap). Textures for the frames are needed. Task: create/select seamless tile textures that closely resemble the photos in color and texture based on photographs of real frames. I will provide macro photos of the corners of real frames under different lighting — one or two references for each of the 6 materials (metals and wood). What is needed for each material: seamless tile without visible seams and noticeable pattern repetition “delighted”: without baked highlights and shadows from the original photo 4K, PNG Optional (a plus, but not required): If you can provide a complete PBR set of maps (normal, roughness, metallic, height/AO) right away — that’s a plus. But the main criterion is the similarity of the texture itself to the reference; we will extract the maps on our side if necessary. Important: we specifically need tile textures of the material, not a photo overlay of the frame on the model the main acceptance criterion is visual similarity to the reference in color and texture ready-made textures from stock are acceptable if they truly match the reference — the result is what matters, not the method Deliver: an archive with textures (one folder per material) + a preview for tile checking. Tool of your choice — I will evaluate based on the final similarity.
Task: to turn a 3D scan of the floor (file .obj) into a ready-made template for cutting — a flat outline in CDR format while preserving real dimensions. Important nuance: the car floor is uneven (footwells, podium under the gearbox), so simply "photographing" the scan from above will not work - dimensions in areas of bends will be distorted. A correct unfolding of the surface into a plane is needed while preserving real dimensions across the surface. We will provide: a 3D scan file (.obj). What is needed: a CDR file, ready to be opened in AutoCAD and uploaded to a laser cutter. Thank you in advance for your response
Hello! I need to create a HighPoly 3D model of a bamboo basket according to the reference. The work includes exclusively detailed modeling. No UV unwrapping or texturing.
It is necessary to develop a 3D CAD model of a new product for further production. A design engineer is needed, working in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Inventor. The model needs to be prepared in STEP/STP format (STL will be an advantage). There is a concept and references. Detailed materials will be provided after communication begins. Please specify the cost, completion time, and examples of similar work.
A 3D model of a marker organizer needs to be created (for 3D printing). There are photos of the finished product that should be used to reproduce the model as closely as possible to the original. Requirements: Create a fully parametric 3D model. The model must be suitable for printing on an FDM 3D printer (without geometry errors). All parts must be separate models for further printing and assembly. The organizer consists of several modules (base, stands, cells, etc.). If any dimensions cannot be determined from the photos, I will provide the necessary measurements. It is preferable to allow for easy changes in the number of sections and cells. Work result: CAD output file (Fusion 360 / SolidWorks / Onshape / Inventor — to be discussed); STL files of all parts; if possible, a STEP file. Experience in designing models specifically for FDM printing and a portfolio of similar works will be an advantage. It is important not just to model the appearance but to make the model suitable for printing and further assembly.
