We are looking for Senior DevOps Engineer to join our client’s team on a freelance basis.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve architecture of cloud based multi tenants platform
Plan and lead project delivery
Requirements:
- 5 or more years of relevant experience
- Fundamental knowledge of Linux (Redhat-like and Debian-like distros), web servers, databases and frameworks
- Wide experience with web stack (web servers, DB, PHP)
- Good experience with virtualization (Amazon WS,VM, containers)
- Good experience with applications administration (Solr, Mongo, Elsasticsearch etc.), Apache/mod_php
- Nginx/PHP-FPM, MySQL, Memcached, Redis, PHP/Zend experience
- SCM tools experience: Ansible (preferable), Puppet
- Continuous deployment (Chef, Jenkins, Bamboo) experience
- Network knowledge and skills: understanding of tcp/ip stack and routing, some experience with load balancing and firewalls
- Scripting: shell scripting or other scripting languages
- Experience with high load and scale
- Experience of building PaaS or SaaS solution is a big plus
Communication skills:
- Good spoken and written level of English
- Team and Project Leadership skills
Work conditions:
