Senior Web Developers for a short-term contract (3-4 months) in Ukraine and Belaru

Primary Purpose: Develops, implements, maintains, and customizes front-end web applications to meet the needs of multiple customers.

Major Responsibilities: 

• Interprets business requirements and translates them into effective technical designs (often including support for custom configuration) prior to implementation.
• Provides estimates and dependencies for completion of work.
• Collaborates with team members on user experience design and website architecture as directed.
• Designs, codes, and tests custom web front-end functionality, with some supervision, to meet customer needs.
• Identifies and coordinates required back-end changes to support front-end functionality.
• Integrates front-end code with back end via web services and with third-party applications via APIs, as necessary.
• Executes code changes in a multi-developer, multi-build environment.
• Communicates dependencies and configurations needed to be considered for testing and implementation.
• Adheres to web site development, database and data integrity standards.
• Participates in daily scrums and ongoing code reviews to ensure continued progress and quality of deliverables.
• Provides technical expertise to contribute to the resolution of complex interface, application or implementation issues.
• Assists team members with troubleshooting and understanding complexities of development tasks to be completed.
• Takes ownership of assigned tasks and cases and ensures completion by promised delivery dates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

• Expert in web mark-up and scripting languages (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript).
• Experienced in developing applications in C# (ASP.NET) and/or Java.
• Experienced in integration with third-party applications via APIs.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, in particular Microsoft Dynamics AX, a plus
• Experienced in use of modern web libraries (backbone.js, jQuery, Angular.js).
• Experienced in developing and maintaining stored procedures (SQL).
• Experienced in integration with server-side logic via web services.
• Experienced in use of source control tools and following related processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate English, ability to work in English-oriented environment

Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in web development.
