I am ready to take on your project. I work in SolidWorks and have extensive experience in complex parametric modeling for 3D printing.
I have thoroughly analyzed your input data and, as an engineer, I must warn you about serious discrepancies between the sketch and the actual photo. To ensure that you receive exactly what you expect after printing, we need to agree on three points before starting:
1. Number of ribs: 10 or 12?
In your photo (the finished chair), there are clearly 10 ribs. However, the drawing indicates 12. This fundamentally changes the entire geometry.
… 2. Thickness of the ribs.
The sketch specifies plywood of 18 mm. If we make 12 ribs of 18 mm with an overall width of 500 mm, the gaps between them will be almost 26 mm — the chair will end up looking "holey." In the photo, we see massive ribs (approximately 25-30 mm), and there are 10 of them. I suggest we focus on the proportions from the photo (10 ribs of ~25-27 mm) so that the chair has a proper, sturdy, and aesthetic appearance in plastic.
3. All connecting spacers are unique.
The photo shows crossbars between the slats in three areas (base, seat bend, backrest). Since the chair has the shape of an ergonomic 3D bowl, the adjacent slats are not parallel. Therefore, absolutely every spacer will be unique — with different lengths and individual cutting angles for perfect fitting to the curves.
My work plan:
I will build the correct curved surface (bowl) according to your radii (R320, R250, R450), cut it into the required number of slats, and model dozens of unique spacers with the correct cutting angles. You will receive a fully prepared set ready for perfect assembly (STL/STEP + drawings of each part).
