You need to prepare a sermon video for upload to YouTube (total duration about 40 minutes). The main feature of the project is to create a very strong, dynamic, and provocative introduction (trailer) of 1-2 minutes that will make the viewer want to watch the entire video until the end.
What needs to be done:
1. Content analysis and selection:
• You need to listen to the sermon fragment yourself.
• Choose the sharpest, most "catchy," and atypical statements of the pastor (focus on radical grace, criticism of religiosity, and the metaphor of the church as a hospital).
• Important: Cut only the Russian language (the pastor's voice), completely ignoring the English translation. Short, "choppy" phrases of 2-3 words are needed to create a fast rhythm.
2. Trailer editing (Hook):
• Assemble these phrases into an explosive introduction (1-2 minutes) at the beginning of the video.
• Add dynamic subtitles (bouncing font or large accent words).
• Use background music that builds tension.
3. Full video assembly:
• Edit the final file: [Trailer] -> [Short intro/transition] -> [Full version of the sermon unchanged].
• Ensure that the transition from the dynamic introduction to the calm sermon looks professional.
Requirements for the performer:
• Experience in creating trailers for YouTube or viral videos (Shorts/Reels).
• Ability to independently find "meanings" in the video (editor's work).
• Excellent understanding of the Russian language.
• Availability of a portfolio with dynamic editing and subtitles.
Materials: A link to the YouTube video will be provided to the selected candidate.
Budget: I am considering your proposals.
Deadline: 2-3 days.
In order for me to choose a performer, please make a very short example (draft) of the editing for 15-20 seconds.
1. Follow the link (I will provide it privately).
2. Take any sharp phrases from the pastor.
3. Cut it so that the translator is not heard, and overlay trial dynamic subtitles.
4. Show your creativity as well.
