    Добрый день!
    Нужно видеть, какие запросы создают лишнюю нагрузку, в панели управления Вашего хостинга это должно быть. Отталкиваясь от этого уже можно будет предложить решения.
    Зачастую проблемы с такими вещами, как опции в категориях - запросы идут с каждого товара на каждую опцию. Если проблема такого рода - то без проблем, в любом случае спрева нужно знать, какие именно запросы тормозят и именно запросы или их количество.
