[Wordpress + Google Product Feed] Problem with product links in the feed
33 USD During the setup of advertising for an online clothing store built on Wordpress + WooCommerce + Woodmart + Product Feed Elite, it was found that some products were rejected due to a 404 error:
• Some links lead to the homepage (incorrect redirect).
• Some return 404 (product unavailable or deleted).
Reason: incorrect product URLs are included in the feed.
There is a table with problematic products from Google Merchant (767 products). It is necessary to understand why they are displayed incorrectly and how to fix the issue.
The problem may have arisen because the manager created a copy of the product in draft to make changes, and then published a new product, deleting the old one. This could have led to a change in Item ID, resulting in incorrect links in the feed.
What needs to be done:
- Investigate why the products with errors have incorrect redirects.
- Remove deleted products from the feed.
- Ensure that it works correctly.
