Klaviyo post-purchase sequence 100 ml for a perfume brand

A complete post-purchase email sequence was developed in Klaviyo for the Polish Shopify store of the brand Bibliothèque de Parfum.

The project’s goal is to establish beautiful and thoughtful communication with the customer after purchasing a full-sized 100 ml bottle. This is not just a series of "thank you for your order" emails, but a retention sequence that helps to delve deeper into the product, strengthen the emotional connection with the brand, and gently guide the customer towards their next purchase.

What was done:

— Developed the logic of the post-purchase trigger sequence;
— Prepared the structure of a series of 6 emails;
— Wrote texts in Polish;
— Worked on email subjects and preheaders;
— Created the visual style of each email in Figma;
— Prepared beautiful email templates in the premium aesthetic of the brand;
— Completed responsive email coding;
— Transferred and assembled emails in Klaviyo;
— Set up automation for the Shopify post-purchase scenario;
— Worked on CTAs, links, product transitions, and further engagement logic.

The sequence was built around the customer experience after purchasing perfume: how to open the story of the fragrance, how to properly apply the perfume, how to professionally "read" the composition, how not to get used to one scent, and why the Discovery Set can be a good next step.

Different email marketing tasks were used in the emails:

— Onboarding after purchase;
— Customer education;
— Enhancing product value;
— Brand engagement;
— Cross-sell on the Discovery Set;
— Gift scenario;
— Follow-up after purchase.

Special attention was paid to the visual aspect. For a perfume brand, the email should not just convey information but create an atmosphere: premium quality, emotion, aesthetics, and the feeling of fragrance through imagery, color, composition, and text. Therefore, each email was designed as a separate brand touchpoint, rather than a regular newsletter.
