из спящего режима
Не знаю, какая Android-версия используется, но в современных версиях этой ОС для любого приложения (в частности для WhatsApp) можно указать, что оно "не экономит батарею".
Не исключено, что проблемы у вас могут быть вызваны тем, что WiFi-модуль переходит в спящий режим - возможно , специфично для вашей модели смартфона.
В настройках можно вообще отключить спящий режим, если смартфоны стоят на зарядке постоянно.
Ну, и можно ещё попробовать приложения типа Stay Alive!
Если ничего из этого не поможет, то без "самодельного" решения не обойтись 🙂
