I am looking for a UX/UI Designer to improve the UI and UX of a web application for designing furniture in 3D in the browser.
The user creates elements (bodies/shelves/fronts), manipulates them (move/resize/rotate), and selects materials.
The application is exclusively for desktop (no mobile version).
UI based on Ant Design – I want to use ready-made components as much as possible "out of the box," without major modifications and without building my own design system from the start.
I care about quickly delivering the MVP and improving usability without "fancy features" and without polishing every pixel at this stage.
What I expect:
A quick audit of the current UX (biggest problems + priorities).
Suggestions for improvements for key flows (tools/modes, selection, 3D manipulations, material selection, etc.).
Wireframes/prototype in Figma to the extent necessary for implementing the MVP.
I am looking for someone who understands the UX of 3D design applications and has worked with similar tools or has strong familiarity with Blender/SketchUp/SolidWorks/Fusion (regarding interaction standards in such software).
Experience in designing tool applications (not just marketing websites) is welcome.
Attached is the current look of the application.
