Необходима оптимизация базы, для быстрого обновления и импорта новых продуктов.
Сейчас в базе около 10 миллионов SKU:
-Реиндексирование занимает 36ч или более.
-Импорт новых продуктов (около 500тыс.), занимает несколько часов
Ищем решение по ускорению работы с огромным кол-вом продуктов.

полмиллиона не так много именно для базы данных. Тут скорее проблема в том что работа с ней на импорте построена недостаточно оптимально, например генерируются много мелких запросов. В принципе долгий реиндекс косвенно это подтверждает.
Думаю нужно смотреть больше код, чем базу.

Каким образом происходит импорт товаров? Где расположена база MySQL и какие ресурсы выделены под нее? Возможность масштабирования? Версия Magento? Количество категорий и атрибутов? Как так вышло, что проект запущен с таким количеством товаров, а проблемы решать некому? -
Сомневаюсь что магазин имеет столько товарных позиций, скорее всего мусора…
