A web application to provide real time data edit/update to/from mongodb database for web clients (modern mobile/desktop web browsers) through advanced grid views.
Project Description:
Need to build a full stack infrastructure around two views: EventView and ControlView.
EventView:
The web server receives incremental updates (events) from mongodb in realtime and displays the events and their properties as a grid view (I.e. log events, ~10 million records/year and growing)
ControlView
The same web server provides another real time grid view for clients to modify a list of objects and their properties that are stored by the web server on the same mongodb. (around 100)
Web server requirements:
TLS/SSL for web server <-> clients and web server <-> MongoDB
User authentication to access all views
Advanced grid view UI:
- filtering per field, sorting;
- user defined conditional row and cell formatting (value based);
- filter configuration by specifying mongodb query string;
- for EventView: a dynamic conditional formatting based on the age of a new event;
- for ControlView: dynamic highlight of the changed cell.

Users control services by interacting with ControlView and receive updates from services with EventView.
