Ready science fiction novel with a philosophical and psychological inclination (the document contains 80,165 words). The text is free of serious grammatical errors, proofread by attentive beta readers.
What is especially important to check/improve:
- The logic, correctness/probability of the described research and scientific theories
- Character arcs
- Plot structure
I am open to edits if they improve the text.
Topics where expertise is desired:
- LGBTQ+
- Medical diagnostics (the text contains many medical terms, describes research on the brain and the human body as a whole)
- Borderline personality disorder, ADHD, PTSD
- Quantum theory
- Theories of collective consciousness
It would be great if you have a medical education/education in physics. This will be a big plus.
If you do not have a relevant education, it is enough to be interested in science, research, and to love science fiction.

Synopsis:
Yuu (pronouns they/them) is an alien from the perfect planet Laitéir. They do not know what evil, war, or intolerance is. Somehow, Yuu ends up on Earth, where chaos, hatred, and painful realizations await them. But they manage to find new friends among humans — neurodivergent Anita, young scientist Namiko, and transgender boy Karl, who has prophetic dreams.
Together, they discover and begin to explore the "biological internet" of Earth — the collective consciousness of the planet, which they immerse themselves in with the hope of changing this world. But the deeper they go, the more they feel: something much greater is hidden behind this. The population is under threat — not only of Earth but also of Laitéir.
Can reality remain stable if the very notion of it changes? And are earthlings really worse than Laitéirians?

Literary editorThere was very prompt communication with Sai on the day of agreeing on the terms, considering that the person was at work. During the actual work, the client communicated politely, pleasantly, and promptly, as much as possible. Even if we disagreed on something, the discussion was completely non-aggressive and constructive. It was very pleasant to work with the gentleman, and only positive impressions remain.

3932 96 1 I translated the book by Otto Kernberg on borderline personality disorders. I have completed courses in psychotherapy (I can provide certificates/programs) and I have a deep understanding of PTSD and other disorders. As a scholar, I know how to work with literary text so that complex ideas remain precise and the prose stays alive. I read an excerpt of the text and already have some ideas regarding collaboration.

1335 9 0 Good night.
I am interested in your proposal. I would be happy to take it on. I am a practicing psychotherapist, psychologist, and also an author of books on spiritual and philosophical topics. Therefore, your plot caught my attention (especially the idea of influencing the collective consciousness of the planet, as I often ponder this myself).
Among my clients are people with ADHD, PTSD, and LGBT views - these topics are very familiar to me.
I have already started reading your attachment - I have an immediate suggestion: write authorial comments in the plural everywhere - it is perceived more harmoniously by the reader (for example: somewhere you write: "A young person sat down," and in another place: "They approached cautiously"). It’s better to maintain a consistent style.
Some spelling mistakes occur.
You asked to name my favorite works: "The Alchemist" by Coelho, "The Master and Margarita" by Bulgakov, "How to Learn to Listen to Your Inner Voice" by Master Irina.
I just registered on this site. Perhaps just in time) Because I don't believe in coincidence) I will be very happy if we come to an agreement!

649 2 0 Hello! I am a text editor with a background in psychology (I completed my bachelor's degree and am obtaining a master's in practical psychology), so I am familiar with the scientific field, research, and mathematical statistics. In particular, I am educated on issues related to the LGBTQIA+ community (personal experience and literature), I love brain physiology, and I am acquainted with topics such as ADHD, PTSD, and personality disorders within the framework of higher education and self-education. I also am not afraid of the pronouns they/them, as I have experience using them in life. :)
I am actually more into classic fantasy (Tolkien, dragons, and magic), but I am extremely interested in your project! For something like this, I wouldn't mind studying quantum theory.
I look forward to our collaboration.
P.S.: I am familiar with text editing outside of this site, so don't be alarmed by my empty profile. I can provide all proof of education.

452 Hello! I am very interested in your project — the theme and approach sound incredibly close. I work with artistic texts, particularly at the intersection of fantasy, psychology, and scientific concepts. I am well-versed in mental health topics (specifically PTSD, ADHD, BPD), familiar with basic and advanced ideas of quantum theory, as well as consciousness research.
I have experience working with texts where logic, scientific plausibility, and character depth are important. I can help refine the plot structure, check character arcs, clarify scientific details, and provide honest feedback without compromising the author's style.
I am ready to start working immediately.
Favorite authors: Lem, Le Guin, Chan, VanderMeer, Vonnegut.
Thank you for creating something so interesting — I would be happy to join!

1200 37 0 1 Hello, Sai.
If you don't mind, I would like to express a friendly wish to you. Referring to a person without a gender using a plural pronoun is incorrect from a lexical-linguistic point of view. It creates semantic confusion in the reader's mind, shifting meanings, making the text difficult to read. At this stage of familiarization with the work, I would call this the main mistake of the story.
Although in terms of overall literacy, everything is written quite well.
Examples of semantic violations:
“Where did I end up?” This is simply disrespectful to the semantics of the language!
In this case, it should be said: “Where did WE end up?”, referring to addressing oneself as ONE person.
… And for some reason further: “I have never encountered such collections…” Why “I”? It should be written “WE”. And if you are talking about a person in the singular, then it is necessary to choose their gender.
And so on.
It turns out that the entire text is a continuous mistake in agreement.
So a good piece of advice is to change the pronoun YOU to the masculine – HE, not THEY. Then it will be clear, at least, that we are talking about one person.
A person who embodies both genders or has none at all is most correctly written in the masculine form.
For example: He was a journalist and she was a journalist; he was an engineer and she was an engineer. And so on.
No offense! With best creative wishes. Such a text, as it is now, few will want to read – it is a puzzle to solve. A very serious stylistic flaw.
If you agree with this remark, I am ready to edit the novel. I have a philological and philosophical education. Serious interests – psychology, spirituality. Experience in editing literary works – over 20 years. I love works of any genres and authors, including fantasy, as long as they are written talentfully.
I am preliminarily ready to perform a test task. All questions can be agreed upon in personal messages.

Вітаю. Маю два питання:
а) віддаєте відразу текст в роботу чи плануєте тестову сторінку дати всім охочим, а потім вирішити?
б) чи підлягає перегляду бюджет?
