С тайловыми текстурами досок, всегда сложно добиться реализма, ))) самый правильный выход, но самый сложный - сделать доски отдельными мешами и у каждой своя текстура, а потом запечь. Или подбирать рисунок текстуры непосредственно на модели.

щели на твоих реалистичньіх фотках не по боках а от теней изза разной вьісотьі участков досок. тоесть для реализма тебе просто надо порезать меш поперек досок и не бока досок менять в некоторьіе учаски поднять или опустить и тенями тебе прорисуются щели..

или можно не вручную. а какимнить модификатором шума задать неровность поверхности нарезанного меша..

модификатором маловероятно, а вот через micro displacement, получится очень реалистично)) главное что бы оперативки было по больше))) и чем больше тем лучше))

В этом примере модификатор просто искажает форму, при этом щели между досками зависят от силы воздействия. А текстура нужна с разной шириной досок и стыки без щелей, так еще чтобы стыки были не идеально ровными. Модификаторами, в принципе можно, добиться не плохого результата, как для игры или виртуальной реальности, но если надо сделать модель, для визуализаций с качественным и уникальными текстурами, для продажи, то это будет сложно сделать, только модификаторами)))

" - єто назьівается тримтекстура когда в длину текстура тайлится а в ширину нет, и тьі можеш нарезать доски разной шириньі и в довесок еще и перемешать их чтоб рисунок на текстуре соседних досок не совпадал - и да модификатор искажает форму -именно єто модификатор и должен делать, а потом тьі єту форму можешь запечь в нормалмап и будет тебе текстура..
