Hello. I have reviewed your task and am ready to develop software for the turntable. The task is very interesting, and I fully understand the specifics of working with Raspberry Pi 5. The main nuance of this microcomputer is the new RP1 chip, which means that old GPIO libraries no longer function, so I will use the modern gpiod protocol or hardware PWM to generate perfectly even STEP signals. This will ensure that your MKS-SERVO57D motors operate smoothly, without vibrations or missed steps.
The program will be written in Python, divided into understandable classes with detailed comments. For the Xbox controller, I will set up asynchronous reading of the sticks (using the evdev library), so you can smoothly adjust the rotation speed by the pressure on the stick or trigger. I will also implement a second mode for movement along a specified array of coordinates.
Since you already have a test stand assembled, I will only need remote access (SSH) to your Raspberry Pi. We will be able to test and calibrate the motor acceleration together.
