For automatic transfer, the Word file needs to be formatted (headings marked as headings, not just bold text). In your case: select all - copy - paste.
A5 is the standard for books. The total number of pages will be around 300.
No space needs to be left for the cover; it is provided as a separate file to the printing house.
Proofreading is done before layout. Imagine - the designer spends 2 days formatting the text, the author makes corrections, and then there are two options - go through the entire text and correct it or copy and re-layout. Both options take time.

Why are the approval deadlines so long? Is it possible to approve and close the project within a week?
For the approval of 20 pages - the price is 1600 UAH. The entire book is 4000. In the quote, I indicate the total amount of 5200 UAH, with deadlines up to a week (in fact, about 4 days and corrections, if any).
