Здравствуйте. Добавьте, пожалуйста, описание деятельности компании, для которой разрабатывется знак. В нынешнем логотипе много символов, каждый человек интерпретирует по-своему. Важно понять, на чем именно нужен акцент.

Владимир, Вы немного рискуете с критикой. Иногда бывает так, что первый логотип клиент рисует сам либо обращается к знакомым. Даже если первоначальный вариант создал некий дизайнер, этот знак был утверждён и, возможно, активно использовался какое-то время, пока его не решили поменять.

Марта, я, как обычный зритель, высказал первую зрительную ассоциацию, которую вызвал логотип, и сразу же извинился.
Надеюсь, заказчик не обидится.

Я когда-то давно тоже вот так неосторожно высказалась о дизайне, заведомо будучи уверена в своих силах сделать лучше. В итоге, как мне кажется, сделала лучше, но процесс утверждения и правок был бесконечным. Клиент всячески пытался сам переделать. Потом выяснилось, что в самом начале я раскритиковала по неопытности его работу. Не задень я каких-то личных амбиций, возможно, всё прошло бы гладко: клиент получил бы хороший результат, я - удовольствие от процесса. Теперь же я понимаю, что сделать какой-никакой дизайн своими силами для человека совершенно иной профессии - уже достижение, потому лучше вообще не высказывать своего мнения, просто предложить лучше))
Это как добрый совет всем (из личного горького опыта).

Советы иногда дают дельные. Но вот культуре общения у них я бы точно не стала учиться. Какой смысл хаять чужую работу, причем иногда переходя на личности? Показать свою значимость и чего достиг? Отбить всякую мотивацию у новичка, который, возможно, через 10-15 лет упорного труда стал бы отличным дизайнером / иллюстратором / шрифтовиком ... Мне ближе европейский стиль общения, где взаимоуважение в основе всего. Каким бы ни был убогим дизайн, лучше поддержать стремление автора сделать лучше, поправить, подсказать (коль уж обратились за советом), если целью, конечно, стоит способствование развитию рынка, а не только позиционирование себя как эксперта ("на безрыбье и рак - рыба" - есть такая поговорка). В России, к слову, есть много достойных студий, которые ведут себя куда скромнее.

- То, что их компания в некотором роде "ангажирована" писать резкие критичные отзывы – это понятно – потому что читателям этой критики нужны и метафора, и сюжет, и "театрализованное представление", если хотите.
- Я стараюсь не обращать внимания на их "театр" в этой критике, а буквально и, может, несколько примитивно, просто вылавливать для себя самую ценную информацию, без грима и антуража.
