Drawing avatar animation in Rive for application development
Mobile application with a live 2D avatar for children and teenagers. The main idea is voice communication between the child and the avatar on various topics: from arithmetic and reading to creativity and psychology. The avatar is the main element of the interface; it should look "alive," be able to show emotions, and synchronize lip movements with speech.
Task
Draw the character-avatar in a vector format compatible with Rive.
Prepare a set of emotions (joy, surprise, sadness, neutral expression).
Set up the animation of lips, eyes, and facial expressions to imitate a live conversation.
The avatar should be able to change facial expressions depending on the context (learning, playing, explaining, praising).
Support smooth transitions between emotions.
Important: animations should be lightweight (optimized for mobile application).
Requirements for the performer
Experience working with Rive is mandatory.
Understanding of character animation principles and lip-syncing (synchronization of lips with speech).
Ability to work with vector graphics and prepare it for animation.
Portfolio with examples of animations in Rive is required (only candidates with a portfolio will be considered).
Work result
Vector file of the avatar.
Rive animations with configured states (neutral face, emotions, speech).
Documentation/instructions for integrating animations into the mobile application.
