Transfer information from Google Sheets to Databases, set up webhooks and scripts
Currently, we are using Google Sheets to store a large volume of information, and as the data continues to grow, we want to transition to a database.
The project will consist of the following:
1. selecting a relational database (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, possibly Google BigQuery - assistance will be needed in the selection), which will meet all the requirements below.
2. transferring information from Google Sheets to the database.
3. setting up scripts and webhooks (the database must support integration with external webhooks via REST API) for integration (which are currently available in Google Sheets).
4. setting up access control (roles and user accounts with clearly defined rights) and securing webhooks.
5. considering scalability, as the data continues to grow.
Since there will be large volumes of data, it is necessary to choose a database with good support for query processing and optimization: integrate pagination (for batch data transfer) and use table indexing to speed up queries.
It is also important to have backup and recovery.
