We have a Telegram bot implemented through SendPulse, which is integrated with CRM. Through this connection, we send automatic messages to clients (reminders about lessons, payments, etc.).
How it should work:
- the user leaves a request on the website, and they are automatically redirected to the Telegram bot
- they click “Start”
- the bot sends a request to share the phone number (via the Telegram button)
- after that, a connection is created in SendPulse and CRM
- then automatic mailings work
Problem
For several clients, automatic mailings are not working.
We have already removed the client from Audiences in SendPulse, the client unsubscribed and subscribed to the bot, etc., but this did not help.
It seems that for these clients, there is somehow no connection between CRM and SendPulse. I also noticed that their Telegram Nickname is not visible in SendPulse.
Perhaps we need to initiate the “Share Contacts” button, but I don’t know how to do this.
What needs to be resolved:
- Propose the correct logic for linking the Telegram user with CRM if the number is already in CRM but not confirmed through Telegram
- Implement a reliable mechanism for re-linking the user (regardless of Start)
- Make it so that the user can confirm the number at any time (or that the system can link them without this)
- Check how to properly use SendPulse variables (phone) for integration with CRM
- If possible — implement an alternative (for example: linking through the start parameter, client ID, or another method of identification)
Expected result:
- the user can be correctly linked to CRM even if they did not share the contact immediately
- or there should be a reliable mechanism for re-linking
- all automatic messages are guaranteed to be delivered

The issue could have been that the number in the CRM was not in the correct format, or the user blocked the bot. In that case, the problem is not with the mechanism but with the clients.
(Blocking the bot instead of unsubscribing is a very common occurrence)
