Development of a production line project for stamping and folding sheet metal (concept, mechanical part, electrical part, and programming)
This project is intended to automate the sheet metal production process as outlined in the attachment.
After the concept development stage, the project is divided into several subprojects: technical part + electrical part + programming.
The developer can take on several subprojects if they have the relevant knowledge. If only one subproject is undertaken, comprehensive collaboration between developers is necessary.
A PME press, a device for unwinding sheet metal, a feeding system, and tools for punching holes in various sheets are available.
Conceptual phase:
At the concept development stage, a realistic and cost-effective concept for the entire production line must be created.
Next, in the first stage, a compact and mobile rolling machine must be designed.
Initially, sheets will be manually fed from the press to the rolling machine. If the rolling machine operates reliably, full automation of the production process will be gradually introduced.
The individual stages of sheet production are as follows:
1. Sheet metal is unwound from a roll (unwinder is available), inserted under the press die (press is available), punched, and the finished sheets are extracted.
2. Punched sheets are collected or extracted from the press and placed into the rolling machine.
3. After the sheets exit the rolling machine, they must be stacked on a pallet.
