I can implement a web calculator for sheet materials with edging, full visualization, cost calculation, authorization, and print/export PDF functionality for you.
Here is how I see the implementation:
1. Authorization and access:
• Login with username/password, access restrictions for a specific group of users (“Calculator Employees”).
• Display who is logged in (full name or username).
2. Interface:
• Tab 1 – Material selection: OSB, chipboard, fiberboard, laminated chipboard, plywood, countertop (with the possibility of expansion). The price per 1 m² is taken from hard settings or a catalog.
• Tab 2 – Calculation of details: each detail in a row with fields Width, Length, Quantity, selection of edging sides (top, bottom, left, right), buttons to add/remove/calculate/reset.
3. Calculation result:
• Total area, price per 1 m², total cost, list of details and their visualization in the form of rectangles with labeled dimensions. Edging lines: thick/thin depending on availability.
4. Client data:
• Before printing or exporting, it is mandatory to fill in the first and last name, client’s phone number. Without this, the functions are unavailable.
5. Print/export PDF:
• A4 format, vertical, includes all details, visualization, calculations, employee's full name, date, text “I agree with the dimensions and calculations. I have no claims.” with fields for signature.
6. Technical requirements:
• Responsive, simple UI (PC, tablet, phone).
• Input validation (empty/negative values are prohibited).
• Correct operation in modern browsers.
I have experience in creating internal corporate calculators and integrations with PDF generation and data visualization. I can prepare a full prototype in 1–2 weeks and discuss further development and support.
