I propose an automated rental tool accounting system based on Google Sheets + Apps Script, without complicated programs and manual confusion.
All orders are entered into a Google Sheet (from a phone or PC): client, tool, rental dates, delivery/pickup, payments, deposit, additional expenses. Apps Script automatically calculates payments, extensions, debts, and highlights overdue items.
For each tool, a booking calendar is created, showing which dates it is occupied and until what date it can be returned without conflicting with bookings. Extensions of rentals are recalculated automatically, without manual adjustments.
The system records all payments (cash/card), keeps a history of extensions, and shows the current status of the order. If needed, reminders can be connected via Telegram and basic analytics.
