There is an active store that is currently being updated and needs to launch a new one with CMS OpenCart soon.
Most of the product and category addresses are preserved. There are approximately 200 products and 15-20 categories/subcategories on the site.
I am looking for a performer who will conduct a quality audit of two sites, preserve the links, and be able to fix the errors.
I have already independently corrected most of the technical errors together with a programmer, according to the Netpeak Spider report, we still need to go through the meta-tags.
Approximate work plan (if you have a better plan, please suggest)
1. Redirection and URL structure (Critical)
- 301 Redirect Map: Check that each old page (product, category, article) has an automatic redirect to the new address.
- Absence of 404 errors: Scanning the site should not reveal any "broken" links.
- SEO-friendly URLs: Addresses should be transliterated from Ukrainian (e.g., /st-100/, not /product_id=123).
- Lowercase: All URLs must be in lowercase.
2. Technical SEO
- Sitemap.xml: Availability of an up-to-date sitemap with all language versions. A script is installed for automatic map generation; check its correctness.
- Canonical Tag: Filter and pagination pages must have a link to the main "parent" category.
- Loading speed: LCP and CLS metrics in PageSpeed Insights must be in the green zone (especially for mobile). Currently, the speed on mobile is 60, other parameters are 90-92-96.
4. Content and Meta-data
- Check the compliance of meta-tags: Title and Description from the old site (or updated according to semantics).
- H1 Headers: Only one <h1> tag per page, containing the product or category name. Currently, I have only found one page that has 6 H1s.
- Alt Attributes: All product photos must have descriptive Alt tags.
5. Commercial factors and E-E-A-T
- Microdata Schema.org: Check the validity of the Product markup (price, currency UAH, availability) and Breadcrumbs (navigation chains).
I also ask you to provide a list of sites where you have performed or are performing similar work.
The addresses of the sites have been provided in private messages to everyone who will contact or place a bid.
