Thank you for the project! It's advisable to stay in touch, but everything else is fine. The project itself was difficult; it needed not only to be translated but also to be created almost from scratch, as the document was not editable. My task was to translate it, bringing it as close to the original as possible, rather than editing the project from start to finish. This was communicated to the Client. However, after agreeing on the terms, new specifications, instructions, etc., started coming in. The project was completed ahead of the specified deadline, but the Client only reviewed it a day later, constantly nitpicking small details, like a misplaced comma, incorrect spacing, wrong font, wrong symbol, etc. She would pop in for a short time, find something on one page, and then disappear. The Client was constantly unavailable! There was no ongoing contact! She did not respond to messages in a timely manner! Who could discuss project-related issues? It could have been possible to check the entire document for corrections all at once, rather than one page every couple of days, and sometimes even three. The overall impression of the collaboration was not very positive. Despite the difficulties, we reached an agreement. All the Client's wishes and requirements were fulfilled.
