Translation of the consumer manual for the inverter 

Technical Assignment

1. Name

Translation of the consumer manual for the Yuyang inverter 3-5 kw (54 pages).

2. Purpose

The manual will be used for further work on the installation of the inverter by the consumer.

3. Requirements for Functional Characteristics

Originality of the document – it is necessary to preserve the structure, formatting, and style of the original document during the translation from English to Ukrainian.

Language of Translation – the document must be translated into Ukrainian, with precise preservation of the meaning and context of the original.

Format of the Finished Document – the translated document must be provided in two formats:

Microsoft Word (.docx)

PDF (.pdf)

Formatting – all formatting elements (fonts, headings, tables, images, and other graphic elements) must be identical to the original.

Preservation of Style – the translation must maintain the author's style and feel of the original document.

4. Stages and Phases of Translation

4.1 Preparatory Stage

* The performer is obliged to analyze the original document, including content, terminology, text complexity, and scope of work.

* The client is obliged to provide the performer with all necessary materials, translation requirements, formatting, and target audience.

4.2 Main Stage

* The translation is performed by the performer in accordance with the technical and stylistic requirements of the client. The performer is obliged to maintain the accuracy and completeness of the content of the original.

* The translation is checked for compliance with the original, correctness of terminology, and overall quality of the text.

* The performer carries out editing and proofreading of the text to eliminate grammatical, spelling, and stylistic errors.

* If necessary, a designated specialist from the client’s side may proofread the translated text to verify the accuracy of the technical information.

4.3 Final Stage

* The performer ensures appropriate formatting of the translated document according to the client's requirements (file formats: Word, PDF).

* The final translation is subject to a final check for compliance with the original in terms of content and format.

* The performer delivers the finished document to the client in the agreed formats within the agreed timeframe.
