Required skills and competencies
Confident use of graphic editors: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate or similar.
Experience in creating templates for game cards: frames, boards, banners, areas for illustrations, text, levels, power.
Ability to draw original characters of various races and types (humans, elves, orcs, dwarves, minotaurs, and other fantasy creatures).
Skill in illustrating monsters and NPCs, including working with anatomy and fantasy aesthetics.
Confident illustration of items, weapons, artifacts, armor, potions, magical objects — adhering to style and detail.
Ability to develop maps of worlds, regions, and locations:
continents, lands, provinces;
landscapes (mountains, forests, steppes, deserts, archipelagos);
cities, settlements, capitals, unique points of interest;
designing cards in an artistic style.
Proficiency in clean digital fantasy art with clear lines and neat detailing.
Ability to maintain a unified visual style of the project across all elements: world map, character maps, items, templates.
Preparation of graphics for print: CMYK, bleed, correct layout.
Desirable skills
Experience working on board games, card games (TCG/CCG), RPG projects.
Knowledge of the basics of composition, light and shadow, visual storytelling.
Skills in creating icons, UI elements, decorative symbols.
Basic understanding of game design logic.
