Hello. The task is clear: it is not about simple conversion, but about a full-fledged algorithmic pipeline (CV → geometry → generation of the stitch plan). I have relevant experience in computer vision, image processing, and geometric algorithms: I have worked with OpenCV, vectorization (including custom pipelines on top of Potrace), contour construction and cleaning, curve approximation, offset geometry, as well as route optimization tasks (similar to minimizing jump stitches). I also have experience with binary formats and file generation.

Regarding implementation: I will handle the PNG → SVG stage through preprocessing (denoise, adaptive threshold, color quantization), then color segmentation and contour extraction (marching squares / findContours) with subsequent approximation and mandatory topology checking (closedness, removal of self-intersections and noise by area). The geometric layer involves classification of areas (fill/stroke) by thickness and shape, calculating width through distance transform/medial axis, and constructing a graph of areas for further embroidery order.

I will implement the key satin stitch block through the central axis: skeletonization (medial axis), smoothing of the axis, generating stitches perpendicular to the axis with control over density, angle, and width through a local distance field. For large widths, automatic division into several zones will be applied. I will add underlay (center run + zig-zag) to ensure stable quality. Stroke detection will be done through thickness analysis: thin lines → running stitch, medium → satin, wide → fill, while the lines will not be "filled" due to separate contour processing and width limitations.

I will optimize the embroidery order through a graph of areas with greedy + local optimization (2-opt) to minimize jump stitches and group by colors. Text will be converted to curves with automatic selection of stitch type depending on size and readability control (minimum stitch width, simplification of details). Formats DST/PES/JEF/VP3/EXP will be handled through a unified internal representation of the stitch model with separate adapters for the constraints of each format (stitch length, jump/trim commands, color change).
