Мені здається, чи показана модель за деталізацією взагалі далека від референсу?
Для чого замовляти у когось спочатку "болванки" моделі які геометрично далекі від вам необхідного результату, а потім замовляти у когось це все переробляти до фотографічного рівня. Чи не простіше замовити якісну модель в одного спеціаліста який зробить і модель якісну і текстури і рендери в необхідній вам якості. Ато виходить що у вас є модель "стругана ножиком", а ви підносите її як готову модель , от тільки текстурки нанесіть і все готово. І платять же комусь за ті "готові" моделькі.

Во-первых, как правило те 3д Исполнители, которые готовят для меня модели в SolidWorks не готовят рендеры с нанесением текстур, логотипов, цветов и так далее и наоборот. И сначала готовится модель в STEP или IGS форматах для фабрики, для производства пресс-формы а потом уже по ней делаются рендеры и 3д анимация.
И во вторых почему Вы решили что модель "Cтругана ножиком?" Если Вы не видели самих исходников?

так у вас на примерах фото с реальными фактурными рукоятками, а получить такие вы хотите из моделей, где и близко такой геометрии нету

Если Вы не видели самих исходников? - Ви розмістили проєкт на 3д-візуалізацію з розрахунком на високу якість, і додали до проєкту зображення моделі яка є з приписом готовий файл моделі, але для прес-форми вона може і готова, но проект то не про це. Для якісної візуалізації модель треба буде зробити "з нуля" а не переробити за кимось. Як шаблон для моделювання-підійде, але як для візуалізації- "ножем стругана", або приберіть припис готовий файл моделі, може просто: "додаю модель в такому то форматі". Вирішила так бо бачу своїми очами. Чи у вас будуть якісь інші вихідні файли?
Да, Вы правы. Я просто не до конца понимаю процесс создания рендера. Думал что это базовая модель с которой уже можно работать и дорабатывать.

Я не понимаю к чему прокопались. Человек написал, что у него есть и что он хочет получить в итоге.
Это уже ваша забота как вы этого достигните. Конечно, на модели, созданной под печать не будет геометрии с резиновым жгутом и мелкой детализации.
Мне казалось, очевидным, что модели STEP и STL не пригодны (чаще всего) для качественного рендера и что они нужны лишь как основа. Очевидно именно для исполнителя, а заказчик может этого и не знать.
Конечно придётся создавать модель по новой, добавлять недостающую геометрию и детализацию, делать развёртку и только потом накладывать текстуры, чтоб модель была готова к рендеру.
А предъявлять претензии заказчику за то что он предоставил какие-то не такие исподники, наверное, не стоит. Тем более, додумывать что-то от себя, чего не указанно в задании.

A case for the printed circuit board needs to be made, optimized for 3D printing (I mean to consider shrinkage, I will be printing with PETG plastic). The case should consist of 2 parts and be screwed together with M3 screws (with a place for a nut on the other side). Photos of the actual board and the step file are attached in the announcement. The only difference between the model and the board is the LEDs; they have a diameter of 5mm and are soldered in such a way that the center of the LED lens is aligned with the center of the button.
