Project Manager in part time for German Insurtech (Jira, Laravel, Vue)
Wetterheld develops highly innovative digital parametric weather insurance products for the German market.
Our founders were born in Russia, live in Germany, and our technical team is located remotely in Ukraine, Belarus and Russia.
We are looking for a freelance project manager for weather insurance products and website development in part time for remote work.
Your working time per week will be about 10-20 hours. You can start at any time between today and 01 January 2022.
Your job:
- Roadmap Meetings with the CEO
- Creating Epic descriptions and Task specifications
- Weekly Sprint Meetings with Frontend and Backend developers
- Checking of task status, ongoing daily communication with developers via chat and calls
- Basic QA and task acceptance
- Documentation in Confluence
Your Skills:
- Very good practical knowledge of Atlassian Jira (Next Generation)
You can create a consistent project structure of Roadmaps, Epics, Sprints, Boards, Status, Tasks, Dependencies etc. in your sleep - Good understanding of 3-tier microservice architecture (Frontend, Backend, Database, API)
- Good understanding of DevOps
DEV/TEST/PROD approach, Branches, Merges, QA process, Releases - Good English in writing, excellent verbal Russian (you will write all your documentation in English, your language of communication with the team will be Russian)
- Finance or insurance or e-commerce experience is a big plus

Никогда не понимал, зачем нужны эти бюрократические "daily communication with developers via chat and calls" какая в них польза?
Работаю в проекте без митингов и это никоим образом не сказывается на эффективности, все в команде знают свою роль, задачи решаются и это самое главное! -
вернее имел в виду Митинги и Стендапы, т.к. под фразой что выше, очевидно подразумевалось обсуждение непосредственно рабочих задача, что есть норм

Встречи у нас проходят раз или два раза в неделю на 1 час, вроде пока никто не считает их лишними или слишком частыми.

Не уверен, что процесс может быть максимально эффективным, если проджект занять в нём всего about 10-20 hours per week. Потому что остальные 20 часов в неделю ему нужно еще чем-то заниматься, очевидно вести другой проект, а когда 2 разных проекта, то параллельно держать в голове совершенно разные задачи, ну это такое...

Дейлики нужны для того, чтобы собрать информацию у команды о том, какая работа была проделана вчера и какие планы на сегодня. Очень часто бывает такое, что разработчик не до конца понимает приоритеты задач или не до конца понимает саму задачу (особенно в случае отсутствия спринтов). Вам может казаться что вы написали исчерпывающую документацию и в таскере все очевидно по приоритетам, но обычно это не так. Так вот дейлики нужны чтобы избежать недопонимания. И почему бы это не сделать в определенное выведенное время, а не отвечать весь день на возникшие вопросы и потом разгребать последствия недопониманий. Тем более это актуально если проект на парттайме и без спринтов. А еще ПМу будет полезно понимать чем каждый день занимается команда, чтобы быть увернным, что все идет по плану.

Слово daily подразумевает, что Вы должны быть на связи каждый день на случай каких-то непредвиденных обстоятельств, и должны быть в состоянии быстро решить все вопросы либо перепиской, либо в срочном созвоне.
Постоянных созвонов мы не практикуем, но решать абсолютно всё в письменном виде мы считаем очень неэффективным подходом -- иногда голосом можно решить сложную проблему в 5-10 раз быстрее чем в форме переписки.
